Our technical team meets clients' technical departments for project discussions.
In 1992, Sharghya for Engineering Consultancy (SECC) was established as a Libyan company, collaborated with most of Libya’s oil and gas production and processing companies.
In 06-2023, the Algerian Company Badr for Engineering and Consultancy (BECC) was established as a continuation of SECC’s activities.
In 07-2024, the Libyan company Badr 1st for Oil Services and Consultancy (BOSC) was founded as a sister company to BECC, aimed at supporting Libya’s oil and gas sector by providing services to production and processing companies.
Currently, BECC in Algeria and BOSC in Libya operate in full integration and cooperation across both countries.
Basic preliminary studies: (Pre-feasibility studies – Preliminary Basic Data Rivew -Grass Root Assessment)
Basic Engineering Design. To develop and expand the fields business for oil projects to achieve higher production and performance.
Preparing the different type of projects and scope of works at various stages.
Carrying out technical and engineering analysis studies for the operations, equipment of projects, wells, fields, and oil facilities to find out the causes of their malfunctions and low performance, determine aspects of their development, and propose modern solutions and applications to address them.
Study the requirements of legislative and investment projects and determine their legitimacy, consistency and response to spatial, legal, environmental, social and economic requirements.
Conducting studies of the compatibility of the components of the project with the surrounding environment in the form of environmental and climate studies that determine the possible and expected environmental impact of the project. (Environmental Assessment Studies)
Supervise and follow up the management of project implementation in terms of financial, technical, environmental, progress of implementation according to the implementation schedule, control costs, evaluate performance and submit its reports in particular to the project owner.
Preparing the administrative and technical organization charts structures necessary for the administration and the various operations with the required functions and job descriptions for each of them.
Providing technical assistance and administrative and technical support to the project owner to provide the project requirements of local and foreign manpower, determine the sources of implementation equipment, select the most suitable and supply them according to the owner's requirements..
Prepare initial and basic startup programs (pre-commissioning and commissioning) Inclusive to all requirements in terms of equipment, materials, and manpower with the preparation of the preliminary and final performance test programs, follow-up, and supervision of their implementation until the issuance of the initial acceptance certificate for the project, after which the warrantee period starts.
Planning, preparing and implementing specialized training and qualification programs for human cadres according to the purposes of the company and the owner and transferring experience and applied knowledge to the trainees to develop them professionally and enhance their career path according to specialized programs for each field and for each employee.
Sample List of some works performed by Asharquia for Engineering and Consultancy Company (SECC)
This work involved physical inspection, review and diagnosis of over 12,000 ESP pullouts, repairs and reinstallations. The final report presented to the owner with detailed evaluation of pumps performance in over 600 oil wells with recommendations to mitigate all apparent present and future malfunctions.
The work involved intensive geological, geophysical and reservoir production data and history to update the field’s geological maps, reserve estimates and best match oil recovery and production schemes.
The work included review and assessment of oil and gas production schemes of 4 medium to small fields in order to determine the cost suitable schemes to produce the highest oil and associated gas recovery, and handle the produced water to the best and safest to the environment.
The work involved inspection and review all available design and operation history data and generating the suitable repair and/or revamp procedure for the offshore oil loading SPM (Single Point Mooring) to eliminate oil leaks due to flexible valves and connection disfunctions.
The work involved reviewing and evaluating all pertinent geological and production data and reports to determine causes of field shut down and there upon determine ways and means of how to put the field on production.
The work involved reviewing the design and infrastructure of field development to create a separate and optimum flow chart, piping networks and, gas handling facilities dedicated to the free and associated gas produced along the oil.
This work involved review and evaluation of related reservoirs and production for a major oil field in the Libyan desert in order to determine the most suitable artificial system. The study concentrated on two most applicable systems; gas-lift and Electrical submersible pumps ESP.
On 2024 Badr, Algeria performed in collaboration with Taknia Libya Engineering Company 6 Training Courses for AGOCO of 5 days each Namely:
1. Professional Project Management based on PMBOK 6TH Edition - Level 01 & Level 02
2. Primavera P6 - Level 01 & Level 02
3. API/ASME Standards - Level 01 & Level 02
